Hello all,

Greetings from Barcelona! The car has done us proud, the first 1700km have been covered with no problems, although the car does need refueling every 2 hours so we have seen a lot of petrol stations. Boxing Day night we saw the sights of Paris; Moulin Rouge and the Irish Bar. Did "paris through glass" yesterday morning, allowing our 2 passengers (Craig - the webmaster / team manger and Charlotte) to see the sights. 9 hours and 5 fuel stops later we were in Barcelona, another Irish bar! Today we are allowing some time to get out of the car to see the sights. Tomorrow it is another social 700 miles behind the wheel to meet the rest of the teams in Southern Spain, can't wait.

All the best

TLL

Sentimental stuff first:

Well done boys! I'm very impressed by your efforts. Hope you have a fantastic experience!

Seconds:

Looking forward to the tour part one. I'm sure that I'll have a great time asleep in the back of your car for three days!

Thanks to everyone who has supported us so far and for those who attended the launch party - we raised over £250 from the launch party alone; all of which will be going straight to the charities. Be sure to sign up for the newsletter to follow our progress, and once again many thanks. Carl and Rob

Hi Robert nice web-site, do you fancy taking a deaf, one eyed dog with you, he's not much use but could boil up into a nice stew if you're desperate.

Have the most amazing time! If you make it I'm taking you with me next time I go travelling - had too much experience of being stuck in deserts!! (make sure you take a pack of cards and plenty of booze for those long nights...) xx

Hi - very impressive web site. Think missing the flight to Germany was a particularly good start! Are you taking a map with you? But the pics look good - good luck with all the preparations. Can't wait to hear more.

The car does look better than Jenny's. We have sent you a package of stuff for the journey. Would any Citroen CX car parts be of any use?? Bon voyage!

Hey Rob,
Nice web site. Your car looks like it's in way better condition than mine! Where's all the rust? Also, disappointed that there appears to be no visible duct tape!!

Impressive web site - including the map. Looking forward to the photo gallery.
Oh yes - great project too. We did Morocco by train - something tells me we took the easy option!
Good luck and "Bon Voyage" from us both.
